Freshet

A "freshet," often caused by melting snow, is a rush of fresh water into a river, or the sea. The artists of Gallery 322 are inspired by spring, and the energy it brings--a freshet of creativity, and reawakening of color in the work we do. The paintings , drawings, sculpture and assemblages on display include seasonal and water-filled landscapes, energetic figures and shapes, and emerging blooms and soft hues. This spring group show, features artists Michael Douglas Jones, Jan Kaufman, Linda Kirvan, Ann Schaefer, Anne Gibson Snyder, Russell Schofield, Roberta Staat and Homer Yost.
